Hang Time is an iPhone app by Tareq Ismail. The app does not require an account and does not send your workout history or camera video to us.

Your camera

With your permission, Hang Time uses the front camera and Apple’s on-device body-pose detection to time your hangs. Camera processing happens on your iPhone. Normal hang timing does not save camera video.

Your progress

Hang durations, dates, personal bests, progress, and preferences are stored on your device. Hang Time has no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Your device’s backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple.

Optional diagnostics

If you enable debug capture, the app saves video, pose information, and diagnostic logs on your iPhone. These files remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Sharing uses the destination you select. You can delete saved captures in Settings.

Your choices

You can revoke camera permission in iPhone Settings and use manual timing. You can delete individual hangs from your history. Deleting the app removes its local data; backups are managed separately through your Apple settings.

This website and support

This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising, analytics trackers, or marketing cookies. If you email us, we receive the information you send and use it to respond to your request.
